Necessity may be the mother of invention but too much time on my hands may be the father…I do believe that there is still a lot of ground to be covered in the light bright young and fruitful red space. Grenache dominant with Cinsault playing a lesser role this is a sweeter fruit version with juicy dark cherries and blood plums driving the up front with hopefully the now familiar smooth transition to a more savoury finish.

Colour: Deep crimson.

Aroma: Dark cherries, blood plums.

Palate: Starts sweet and juicy then finishes with some dry herbs and tea.

Summary: Fills a niche with aplomb.

Variety: 50% Grenache 50% Cinsault.
