Some things are just meant to be and Riesling with a lick of RS can be quite celestial, out of the classical handbook. A drier season made for lower yields but summer was again cooler making for gentle ripening. The Vinevale site continues to produce riper end of spectrum flavours with tropical fruits dominating and then balanced by wonderful natural acidity. So much of this wine is about mouth feel, the balance between the fuller Riesling characters, the tight acidity and the rounding sensation of the residual sugar.
