Our old vine Cab was going elsewhere but it felt like time to bring it home.
10 months in oak to round things out then a solid year of age in bottle brings a less tannic expression of the grape, the name came later and perfectly captures the blue fruited nature of the wine, calling out for some good protein, perhaps something gamey.
